Trade union “Union Alternative in National Revenue Administration” held an industrial action in the last week of the 2021 tax year. The employees participating in the action stopped serving taxpayers every day from April 25th to May 2nd between 12.00 and 12.15.
Unionists demand an increase in basic salaries by at least 20% and the implementation of the overdue modernization resolution. They have announced that failure to comply with their demands will lead to an escalation of industrial action.
The action has been joined by about 30 000 employees consisting of 60% of all officials.
